Tonight (Wednesday, July 10) the results of a major piece of market research will be revealed to business and community leaders into a possible second runway at Gatwick.
The survey looked at views of West Sussex workers and residents about air travel.
Although this week’s County Times will have gone to press by the time of the meeting, in another major exclusive we have secured the findings of the survey - and will be publishing them tomorrow.
Make no mistake, expansion of Gatwick Airport is now firmly on the agenda.
A decision will be taken by the Airports Commission and the closing date for submissions is July 19.
But critical to the process will be these survey results - commissioned by the county council and Crawley Borough Council.
So what did the public tell the researchers - and what impact are their comments likely to have?
Don’t miss tomorrow’s County Times - on sale Thursday and still only 75p.
Then join in the debate yourself.
