Guides and Rangers from Central Sussex going on the Girlguiding & Coco Foundation Service Project ' Summer 2014

Six 1st Roffey Guides from our group and two other Horsham Guides have been selected to go on the Girlguiding Sussex Central & Coco’s Foundation Service Project Summer 2014.

This is a trip to South Africa where 16 Guides and four Leaders will be undertaking charity work for the orphans, such as house building and decorating, home garden farms, helping the orphans to learn and organising workshops to help with development.

It is a great opportunity but comes with a downside, each of us need to raise £2,600 meaning as a total we need to collect £20,800. This is a huge amount and we are asking for your support.

We’re holding a Family Fun Day and Balloon Race, on Sunday September 15 11am – 4pm, at Broadbridge Heath Leisure Centre, Horsham RH12 3YS.

Live Music by the Famous Nathanael, Coasters Band and Boom Tribe Samba Band, Fancy dress competition & Children races, Fete stalls and games, Owls about Town, Smash the Crockery, Phoenix cards, cake stall and much more…. Free Admission.

All proceeds are supporting the Guides going on the Coco’s Service Project in Summer 2014 to Africa
