The elephantastic exhibition in Swan Walk is set to move to Billingshurst next month.

The decorated elephants will be moving to their new home in the Billingshurst Creatives shop, in Jengers Mead, on September 1 and will be on display in the village for two weeks.

The Billingshurst Chamber of Commerce, which is co-ordinating the Billingshurst Mini Trail in partnership with Horsham Rotary, has secured the space in the heart of the village thanks to the Billingshurst Community Partnership.

The display will be held in the shop every day except Sunday and will be open from 10am to 4pm.

Sandy Duck, secretary of the Billingshurst Chamber of Commerce, said: “Bringing the amazing elephantastic show to Billingshurst means that lots more people can see them right in the heart of our village shopping area. They can make donations to the benefitting charities if they wish and buy elephant souvenirs and unpainted elephants to decorate themselves”.

Chamber chairman, Martin Spurrier, added: “We congratulate Horsham Rotary for this initiative. It has brought the amazingly creative elephants into our lives, people into our shops, and it is raising money for worthwhile causes”
