‘Urgent repair work’ is being carried out to improve mobile phone signal problems in the Southwater and Copsale areas.

A number of Southwater residents have taken to social media to complain about a lack of signal in the area in the last two weeks.

A spokesperson for mobile network operator EE said: “We apologise to customers in Southwater and Copsale who may be experiencing signal issues.

“Our engineers have identified an issue with the power supply to the mast and are carrying out urgent repair work. We hope to restore full service very soon.”
