The Royal British Legion are calling on dog owners to make their dogs Poppy Hero’s by taking part in the fantastic Bark for Honour following last year’s success.

The 2km charity dog walk will take place on Saturday June 25 between 10am and 3pm at Buchan Country Park, Crawley. Registration is £5.

All doggy participants will be given a special Poppy tag which they can wear along the route and at the end they can collect a doggy goody bag for taking part.

A century on from the First World War, those in the Armed Forces community can still call on the Legion for help in aspects of daily life - whether living with bereavement or disability, finding employment, or coping with financial stress.
