July 2-8 will see people donning pyjamas, snoozing in the garden and putting their feet up, all in the name of fundraising.

Horsham based international wildlife charity, the Born Free Foundation, is urging you to do nothing for charity as part of their ‘Big Cat Nap’.

During Big Cat Nap week people are being asked to take the lead from male lions who sleep for 23 hours a day by joining in a sleep-themed activity and ask family and friends to sponsor you.

Joanne Bartholomew, Born Free’s events and fundraising co-ordinator said: “Born Free’s Big Cat Nap week is a novel and fun way to help protect big cats around the world. Why not do a sponsored silence or bake some cakes to have with an afternoon cup of tea for a small donation.”
