Deer rescued from electric fence

A deer was recused after it became trapped in an electric fence this morning (Saturday October 31).

Firefighters were called to the incident in Crawley Down Road, Felbridge, at 12.15pm.

A spokesman for the fire service said crews released the deer from the fence and the animal was left in the care of the RSPCA.
