Cyclist taken to hospital after fall in Loxwood

A cyclist suffered multiple injuries and was taken to hospital after falling from his bike in Loxwood yesterday (Thursday September 17).

Paramedics were called to the junction of Roger Dymock Lane and Drungewick Lane at about 10.20am.

The man, believed to be aged in his 40s, was treated at the scene for shoulder, head and chest injuries.

He was taken by road to Worthing Hospital.

A spokesperson for Sussex Police said no other vehicles were involved in the incident.
