West Chiltington teenagers set for trial on criminal damage charges

Two teenagers from West Chiltington will face trial after they pleaded not guilty to criminal damage offences.

Hamish McLeod-Miller, 19, and a 17-year-old boy who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared at Worthing Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday (September 8).

Both teenagers were charged with five counts of criminal damage.

Each pleaded not guilty to the charges. The case was adjourned for trial.

Proceedings will take place at Chichester Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday October 21.

The charges relate to damage caused to vehicles in the Horsham district overnight on Monday May 4 and Tuesday May 5.
