Vandals target Horsham town centre car park for second time in two months

Graffiti has been sprayed inside a Horsham town centre car park just weeks after almost £1000 was spent to remove vandalism from the same building.

Vandals sprayed words and images, some of which are obscene, in the Forum Car Park.

Last month, Horsham District Council spent £950 on removing graffiti from the same car park.

The latest graffiti was discovered by commuters on Monday (January 12).

A spokesperson for the council said: “The clean-up cost for the graffiti removal at the Forum Car Cark which was undertaken by Horsham District Council staff in December 2014 was £950.

“The cleaning was necessary due to excessive vandalism.”
