UPDATE: Police update appeal over Roffey shop robbery

Police have updated their appeal for information after a robbery left staff ‘very shaken’ at the One Stop shop in Roffey earlier this week.

The robbery occurred at 6.15am on Tuesday March 3 at the shop in Lambs Farm Road.

Police said three men came into the shop and demanded money from two woman working at the store.

The woman were forced into a room and made to hand over cash.

Detective Sergeant Dan Gower said: “No weapons were seen and thankfully the two women workers weren’t hurt but they were very shaken.

“One man was described as black, in his late 30s, stocky, with a London accent, wearing all black clothes with blue mesh gloves.

“The second man was described as Asian, slim, between 25 to 40, wearing a green jacket and surgical gloves.

“The third man was also described as Asian, around 30, wearing all black also with blue mesh gloves.

“We are appealing to anyone saw anything suspicious or was in the area of the shop at the time to please contact police on [email protected] quoting serial 128 of 03/03 or the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
