Three Horsham drivers banned from roads

Three Horsham district motorists have received lengthy bans and fines for drink-driving offences.

Andrew Coakley, 49, was arrested at 7.30pm on June 6 after he was seen driving erratically on the A272 in Billingshurst.

Coakley, of Billingshurst Road, Horsham, pleaded guilty to drink-driving. He was banned from driving for 18 months and was ordered to pay a £1,000 fine, £85 costs and a £100 victim surcharge.

Thomas Moore, 49, was arrested at 11.50pm on June 24 after his car was stopped by police in Tilletts Lane, Warnham.

Moore, of Byfleets Lane, Warnham, pleaded guilty to drink-driving. He was banned from driving for 15 months and was ordered to pay a £500 fine, £85 costs and a £50 victim surcharge.

Helen Gramson, 32, was arrested at 8.25pm on June 21 after her car was seen being driven at speed in St Marks Lane, Horsham.

Gramson, of Longfellow Close, Horsham, pleaded guilty to drink-driving. She was banned from driving for 12 months and was ordered to pay a £350 fine, £85 costs and a £35 victim surcharge.
