Chanel perfume and £2,600 in cash were stolen from Boots in Horsham town centre on Sunday (April 3).
A spokesperson for Sussex Police said two men were seen forcing open the doors of the shop in Swan Walk just before 9.45pm.
They stole the expensive perfume and cash from the till before making off.
The store has been open as normal since the break-in.
A spokesperson for Boots said: “We can confirm that an incident took place at our Boots store on Swan Walk, Horsham overnight.
“We are working with the police but are unable to comment on their ongoing investigation at this time.
“We would like to reassure our customers that the store is open for business and trading as normal.”
Police are appealing for witnesses.
