Shoplifter arrested in Horsham town centre

A man was arrested on suspicion of theft following a shoplifting incident in Horsham town centre yesterday (Tuesday March 17).

Officers were called to TK Maxx to a report of a shoplifter being restrained by security staff at 5.45pm.

A 31-year-old man from Croydon was arrested in The Causeway on suspicion of theft. He is currently in custody.
