Quad bike thefts in Horsham prompt police warning

Two Honda quad bikes, both of which are red, were stolen from properties in The Haven and Coolham in the last seven days.

On Saturday April 4, a gate was forced open at a property in Thakeham Road, Coolham, and a quad bike was stolen.

A second quad bike was stolen from a garden in The Haven, near Billingshurst, between 8pm on Tuesday (April 7) and Wednesday (April 8).

A spokesperson for Horsham police said: “We have seen an increase in the theft of quad bikes reported in the district this week.

“Thieves will go to great lengths to steal vehicles like these along with farm and agricultural equipment, and so good security is required to deter them.”
