Police investigating a burglary in Horsham are keen to talk to motorists who may have seen suspects attempting to cross the A24 at Broadbridge Heath roundabout.

Officers were called to a house in Guildford Road, Horsham, just before 1pm today (Friday April 4) after a house alarm was activated.

Jewellery is among the items stolen from the house close to the Farthings Hill interchange, also known as the Broadbridge Heath roundabout.

PC Ollie Pullen said: “The A24 is a busy road and we believe motorists would have noticed a person or a group of people attempting to cross the road at that time from Horsham to Broadbridge Heath. Anyone who has any information about the burglary or can help us identify those responsible is asked to contact police on 101, email 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk or the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 quoting 0633 4/4.”
