An elderly man was attacked and bitten by two dogs while walking in Roffey on Friday October 30.

Police are appealing for witnesses after the 82-year-old Horsham man was bitten in South Holmes Road.

He was walking at 1.40pm when he saw a woman with three dogs and a pram.

A Sussex Police spokesperson said two of the dogs, a black Labrador retriever and a mousey grey terrier, attacked him by biting him on the bottom of his legs.

The woman, described as white, of heavy build, around 5’ 10”, and very neat short dark and grey hair and dressed smartly, left along Owlbeech Way. She was also with a small white dog, which didn’t bite the man, police said.

Anyone with information or who recognises the description of the woman or dogs can contact police on 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk quoting serial 867 of 03/11.
