Laptop, iPad and suitcase stolen in Horsham burglary

Police are appealing for information after a burglar forced open a flat in Horsham.

The thief broke into the home in Honeysuckle Walk between 7.15am and 2pm on September 23 while the resident was out.

Among the items taken were a Toshiba laptop, a silver iPad 2 with black rubber case and a Dunlop silver metal suitcase containing cash, a passport, a driving licence and other personal items.

Detective Constable Jez Basting said: “The burglary happened on a very sunny and warm day and someone may have seen the offender carrying or pulling the case along in the area.

“I would appeal to anyone who saw or heard anything or who has been offered the chance to buy any of the stolen items to contact us.”
