Horsham man arrested on suspicion of attempted bank robbery

A 26-year-old Horsham man has been arrested in connection with an attempted bank robbery in Horsham town centre last month.

The man was arrested on Saturday (January 24) on suspicion of an attempted robbery at HSBC in West Street and on suspicion of possession of cannabis.

He had been released on bail until March 1.

Detective constable Jon Robeson said: “We have already received a lot of help from local people but our investigation is continuing and anyone else with information that might assist is asked to contact us.”
