An update on an experimental Traffic Regulation Order (TRO) for East Street and Market Square, Horsham, will be on the agenda when the North Horsham County Local Committee meets later this month.
The Committee approved the TRO in March to ban all vehicles in East Street and Market Square during core shopping hours (10.30am and 4.30pm).
It also included the relocation of designated loading bays and parking spaces for blue badge holders.
Committee chairman Brad Watson OBE said: “We introduced these restrictions to encourage more people to enjoy the area.
“With the six month consultation period ending next month, we look forward to receiving this update.
“We are also keen to hear the views and opinions of local residents and businesses, and I would urge people to share their thoughts by completing the form on the West Sussex County Council website before Friday October 26.”
The committee will hear a presentation by West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service on the current consultation for the planned £2.5million savings proposals and Annual Service Plan.
Other items on the agenda include the latest round of applications for Community Initiative Funding and the ‘Talk with Us’ open forum, where residents raise issues and questions they have.
The committee meets on Monday September 17, at 7pm, in the Goodwood Room at County Hall North, Chart Way, Horsham, RH12 1XH.
