HORSE RUGS worth over £1,200 have been stolen from stables at Bushovel Farm, Steyning.
The incident is believed to have taken place sometime between 9am on Saturday September 10 and 8.30am on Sunday September 11.
PCSO Louisa Hull said: “Horse tack can cost the owner considerable money to replace and I’d like to remind other horse owners to double-check the security of their stables and tack rooms. It is important to postcode mark all your items, invest in suitable locks and consider security lighting.
“Anyone with information that could help find the stolen rugs and those responsible is urged to contact police immediately.”
