Henfield man caught drink-driving half-a-mile from his home

A Henfield man has been found guilty of drink-driving just half-a-mile from his home.

Stephen Harris of Lower Faircox was stopped on Nep Town Road at 10.20am on June 7 and blew a reading of 122 microgrammes in 100 millilitres of breath, said Sussex Police.

The 47-year-old appeared at Crawley Magistrates Court on June 21 and was found guilty of drink-driving.

He was given a 29-month disqualification and fined £50 and £60 victim surcharge.
