Four vans targeted by thieves in four days in Horsham district

Four vans were broken into across the Horsham district in the space of four days last week, with tools targeted.

The first theft happened from a van parked in Rosehill, Billingshurst, between 11.30pm and midnight on Tuesday January 6.

A nail gun, two drills and hand tools were stolen, police said.

Thieves targeted a Ford Transit van in Heath Close, Broadbridge Heath, was broken into between 5pm on Thursday January 8 and 7.30am on Friday January 9. Drills, saws and other hand tools were taken.

Makita tools, a radio and batteries were taken from another Ford Transit van in Mulberry Gardens, Horsham, between 10.15pm on Thursday January 8 and 7.15am on Friday January 9.

And a Stihl chainsaw was among the items taken when a Citroen Berlingo van was broken into in Littleworth Lane, Partridge Green at around 6pm on Thursday January 8.

Police are appealing for anyone with information about any of the thefts to call 101.
