Court results - Horsham

The following are results contributed by HM Court Service, of cases sentenced by Sussex Northern magistrates sitting at Crawley.

Harry Osborne-Cooper, 19, of Hillside, Horsham, was banned from driving for 18 months, with a £120 fine, a £30 victim services surcharge, and £85 costs. He had pleaded guilty to drink driving in Blakes Farm Road, Horsham.

Karen Bishenden, 53, of Roman Way, Billingshurst, was fined £220, with a £30 victim services surcharge, £85 costs, and three penalty points added to her licence. She had been convicted of failing to identify a driver suspected of failing to comply with a red light in Portslade.

Sophie Hennigan, 43, of Picts Lane, Cowfold, was fined £880, with a £66 victim services surcharge, £85 costs, and six penalty points added to her licence. She had been convicted of driving without insurance, and driving without an MoT certificate, on the A281 at Cowfold.

Sampson Matthews, 49, of Maplehurst Road, West Grinstead, was fined £40, with a £30 victim services surcharge, and £85 costs. He had pleaded guilty to driving without an MoT certificate in Maplehurst Road, Maplehurst.

Matthew Martin, 30, of Rascals Close, Southwater, was banned from driving for 20 months, with a £390 fine, a £39 victim services surcharge, and £85 costs. He had pleaded guilty to drink driving in Worthing Road, Horsham.

Timothy Nicholls, 36, of no fixed address, was given a six month conditional discharge, with a £20 victim services surcharge, and £85 costs. He had pleaded guilty to theft of CDs from a house in Broadbridge Heath, and theft of a laptop and rucksack from another house in Broadbridge Heath.

Sebastian Cummins, 46, of Maltravers Street, Arundel, was fined £897, with a £89 victim services surcharge, £85 costs, and four penalty points added to his licence. He had pleaded guilty to speeding in Lower Street, Fittleworth.

Louise Kensett, 24, of Rascals Close, Southwater, was fined £48, with a £30 victim services surcharge, £85 costs, and three penalty points added to her licence. She had pleaded guilty to speeding on the A24 at West Grinstead.

David Maslyn, 53, of Dalewood Gardens, Crawley, was fined £220, with a £30 victim services surcharge, £85 costs, and three penalty points added to his licence. He had been convicted of speeding on the A24 at West Grinstead.

Scott Mitchell, 26, of Collyer Avenue, Bognor Regis, was fined £138, with a £30 victim services surcharge, and £85 costs. He had pleaded guilty to driving without wearing a seat belt in Lower Street, Pulborough.

Rebecca Smith, 34, of Pembury Close, Broadwater, was fined £54, with a £30 victim services surcharge, £85 costs, and three penalty points added to her licence. She had pleaded guilty to speeding on the A24 at West Grinstead.

Sayed Torkizadeh, 58, of Radford Road, Tinsley Green, was fined £220, with a £30 victim services surcharge, £85 costs, and three penalty points added to his licence. He had been convicted of speeding on the A24 at Broadbridge Heath.
