The following are results from Sussex Northern magistrates sitting at Horsham and Crawley.

Jimmy Ray, 32, of Hillside Lane, Small Dole, was banned from driving for 18 months, with a £240 fine, a £20 victim surcharge, and £85 costs. He had pleaded guilty to failing to provide a breath specimen, and to driving without insurance in Horsham.

Frederick Worrall, 24, of Milton Crescent, East Grinstead, was banned from driving for a year, with a £200 fine, a £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and a £150 criminal courts charge. He had pleaded guilty to possessing a Class B drug (cannabis), and to driving with illegal levels of cannabis in his blood, on the A272 at Bolney.

Mariaus Cician, 27, of Bulwer Road, Coventry, was given a one year conditional discharge, with a £50 fine, and £85 costs. He had pleaded guilty to stealing scrap metal from Charles Muddle Ltd in Billingshurst, and to failing to answer bail.

Mouiz Hafsi, 31, of Molesey Road, Hersham, was fined £370, with a £37 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and five penalty points added to his licence. He had pleaded guilty to speeding on the A23 at Bolney.

Nicholas Singh, 54, of Putney Hill, London, was fined £660, with a £66 victim surcharge, £85 costs, a £150 criminal courts charge, and six penalty points added to his licence. He had been convicted in his absence of failing to identify a driver suspected of speeding on the A24 at Dial Post.

Reece Stanton, 24, of Cranleigh Gardens, South Croydon, was banned from driving for two weeks, with a £247 fine, a £24 victim surcharge, and £85 costs. He had pleaded guilty to speeding on the A23 at Bolney.

George Eve, 21, of The Vale, London, was fined £40, with a £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, a £150 criminal courts charge, and three penalty points added to his licence. He had been found guilty of speeding on the A29 at Coldwaltham.

Darrell Newsom, 26, of Daux Avenue, Billingshurst, was fined £73, with a £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and six penalty points added to his licence. He had pleaded guilty to speeding.

Steven Marks, 54, of Shirley Close, Rustington, was given an absolute discharge. He had been found guilty of failing to comply with a no entry sign on the A24 at Washington. Court records say magistrates accepted his explanation that the sign was unclear.

Samantha Morrissey, 42, of Hawsmoor Street, London, was banned from driving for three years, with a £460 fine, a £46 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and a £150 criminal courts charge. She had pleaded guilty to drink driving at Handcross.

Shafiq Senkatuka, 24, of no fixed address, was fined £160, with a £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, a £150 criminal courts charge, and six penalty points added to his licence. He had pleaded guilty to driving without a licence, and driving without insurance in Horsham.

Christopher Rose, 40, of Smithy Lane, Lower Kingswood, was given a community order with 40 hours of unpaid work, a £60 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and a £180 criminal courts charge. He had pleaded guilty to breaching a restraining order in Pulborough, and admitted breaching a suspended sentence for common assault.

Christopher Dow, 46, of Lambs Crescent, Horsham, was given a community order with 100 hours of unpaid work, £200 compensation, a £60 victim surcharge, and £300 costs. He had pleaded guilty to common assault. A restraining order was made, barring him from contacting the victim, or going to an address in Horsham.

Catherine Miller, 36, of Charrington Way, Broadbridge Heath, was fined £40, with a £20 victim surcharge, and a £150 criminal courts charge. She had pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly in Crawley.

Brian Wride, 76, of Prince William Close, Findon Valley, was fined £220, with a £22 victim surcharge, £85 costs, a £150 criminal courts charge, and four penalty points added to his licence. He had pleaded guilty to driving without due care and attention at Kingsfold.

Ryan Waller, 40, of Eversfield, Southwater, was fined £130, with a £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and a £150 criminal courts charge. He had pleaded guilty to causing criminal damage to household items, and to a police car, and admitted breaching a conditional discharge.

Laura Bedford, 31, of Cook Road, Horsham, was fined £120, with £1,890 compensation, a £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and a £150 criminal courts charge. She had pleaded guilty to causing criminal damage in Crawley.

Matthew Smith, 34, of Lucas Road, Warnham, was fined £500, with £50 compensation, £85 costs, and a £180 criminal courts charge. He had pleaded guilty to breaching a restraining order by sending text messages, and admitted breaching a conditional discharge.

Simon Pavey, 47, of Downsview Avenue, Storrington, was fined £220, with a £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and a £150 criminal courts charge. He had been convicted in his absence of speeding at Aldingbourne.

Anthony Priddin, 51, of Newham Close, Steyning, was fined £150, with a £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, a £150 criminal courts charge, and three penalty points added to his licence. He had pleaded guilty to speeding at Worthing.

Louise Stevens, 60, of Oakley Green Road, Windsor, was fined £660, with a £66 victim surcharge, £85 costs, a £150 criminal courts charge, and six penalty points added to her licence. She had been conficted in her absence of failing to identify a driver suspected of failing to comply with a red light at Buck Barn.

Shozzad Ali, 35, of Emscote Road, Warwick, was fined £220, with a £22 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and three penalty points added to his licence. He had been convicted in his absence of speeding at Bolney.

Madalena Bettini, 59, of Elmbridge Road, Cranleigh, was fined £40, with a £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, a £150 criminal courts charge, and three penalty points added to her licence. She had pleaded guilty to failing to comply with a traffic light at Bognor Regis.

Catalin Dan, 28, of Owlbeech Place, Horsham, was fined £660, with a £66 victim surcharge, £85 costs, a £150 criminal courts charge, and six penalty points added to his licence. He had been convicted in his absence of failing to identify a driver suspected of committing an offence.

Simon Longman, 39, of Norwood Lane, Graffham, was fined £100, with a £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and a £150 criminal courts charge. He had pleaded guilty to driving without an MoT certificate at Horsham.

Ana Martinez, 32, of Staunton Street, Portsmouth, was fined £40, with a £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and three penalty points added to her licence. She had pleaded guilty to speeding at West Grinstead.

John Yems, 56, of Britten Close, Horsham, was fined £80, with a £20 victim surcharge, and three penalty points added to his licence. He had pleaded guilty to speeding at Chichester.
