The following are results from Sussex Northern magistrates, sitting at Crawley and Horsham from September 7 to September 11.

Ryan Higson, 27, of Letchworth Court, Bewbush, was given a two month jail sentence, suspended for a year, with a one year driving ban, £85 costs, £486.73 compensation, and a £180 criminal courts charge. He had pleaded guilty to driving with excess alcohol, cocaine, and benzoylecgonine (metabolised from cocaine) in his bloodstream, taking a vehicle without consent, stealing food and alcohol from a Co-op in Horsham, and two counts of stealing food and alcohol from a Co-op in Ifield.

Richard Day, 29, of Station Road, Cowfold, was fined £300, with £38.34 vehicle excise back duty, £90 costs, and a £150 criminal courts charge. He had been convicted in his absence of keeping a vehicle on a public road while it was subject to a SORN declaration.

Sreejith Nair, 29, of Elm Grove, Horsham, was fined £200, with £30 vehicle excise back duty, and £90 costs. He had been convicted in his absence of keeping an unlicensed vehicle on a public road.

Ricky Abbott, 22, of Wickhurst Lane, Broadbridge Heath, was fined £600, with £120 vehicle excise back duty, £90 costs, and a £150 criminal courts charge. He had been convicted in his absence of keeping an unlicensed vehicle on a public road.

Gillian Hookway, 59, of Kirdford Road, Kirdford, was fined £400, with £95.84 vehicle excise back duty, £90 costs, and a £150 criminal courts charge. She had been convicted in her absence of keeping an unlicensed vehicle on a public road.

Laszlo Molner, 32, of New Street, Horsham, was banned from driving for two years, and given a community order with 180 hours of unpaid work, a £60 victim surcharge, £85 costs, a £150 criminal courts charge. She had pleaded guilty to drink driving and to failing to stop after an accident.

Catherine Degan, 45, of Longfield Road, Horsham, was given a one year conditional discharge, with a £15 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and a £150 criminal courts charge. She had pleaded guilty to two counts of assaulting a police officer.

Peter Melville, 36, of Ravenscroft, Storrington, was given a community order, with a £60 victim surcharge, £85 costs, and a £180 criminal courts charge. He had pleaded guilty to common assault, breaching a non-molestation order, and failing to answer bail.
