Arrests after Horsham district burglaries

A man has been charged with a burglary in Horsham and two men have been arrested in connection with one in Pulborough as part of Sussex Police’s Operation Magpie.

The initiative was launched earlier this year to tackle burglary across Sussex.

Among the successes for the team is the charging of Nathan Clegg-Hill, 20, with a burglary in Durfold Road, Horsham, August 19.

Clegg-Hill, of Broadwood Rise, Crawley, was remanded in custody to appear at Lewes Crown Court on September 22.

Police have also arrested two men aged 21 and 24 for a burglary in Strawberry Fields, Pulborough, on September 1. Both men were released on bail until September 22.
