A new community safety stall has been launched at the weekly Thursday market in the Carfax in Horsham town centre.
Police Community Support Officers (PCSOs) from Sussex Police will be at the Horsham District Community Safety Partnership stall on a Thursday between 11am and 2pm to offer advice to residents and visitors.
The main aim of the stall is for officers from Sussex Police to provide a property marking service for items such as bicycles, pushchairs, mobile phones, purses and more.
Officers from Sussex Police will be on hand to offer any crime prevention advice and provide details on how people can contact their local PCSOs.
Chief inspector Sharon Parker, from Sussex Police, said: “This is an excellent opportunity to meet members of both teams, to show how we work together and also practical help and advice.”
