Cranleigh Lions Classic Car Show in August this year supported several local charities including Rowleys Centre for the Community in Cranleigh and the Alzheimer’s Society.

The car show, held annually was a great success and this year both Rowleys and the Alzheimer’s Society received £1,500.

On Wednesday (November 21) Cranleigh Lions President Brian Walpole and Classic Car show Chairman Michael Meek went along to Rowleys to present cheques to both charities.

Rowleys centre for the community offers a range of activities for local people, as well as snacks and lunches, trips and weekend breaks. The Alzheimer’s Society holds a weekly drop in session at Rowleys every Tuesday morning.
