CAT-OWNERS in Horsham will be able to take advantage of reduced-price neutering in May.
The RSPCA Sussex North Branch is offering cat neutering to pensioners or those on benefits for just £15 for a male and £20 for a female at its subsidised clinic in Roffey.
According to the RSPCA unneutered cats are highly likely to get pregnant from just four months, while tomcats can get into fights and stray far from home in search of a mate.
There are also health benefits to neutering, reducing the risks of some cancers as well as improvement in behaviour.
I.D. and proof of benefits will need to be shown at the clinic
