As part of Horsham’s famous Piazza Italia event this Easter, local award winning driving school, Stay Safe, will be offering a special driving experience for anyone over the age of 14.

The driving experience will take place in Swan Yard (just behind the COOK shop) every day during the Piazza Italia event from 10am to 4pm.

Founder of Stay Safe Driving School, Steve Lintott, said: “The Under 17’s Driving Experience will be a unique opportunity for young people to find out what it’s like behind the wheel of a real car. They will be able to try their hand at precision manoeuvres in a safe and controlled environment while discovering just how important it is to think and react quickly and sensibly while they’re in the driving seat.”

If you are over the age of 14 and want to find out how good you are behind the wheel, all you have to do is visit the Stay Safe stand during Piazza Italia. It is advisable to arrive early in the day to avoid disappointment as it is anticipated that this event will be very popular with young visitors.

The Under 17’s Driving Experience will be provided for free by the Stay Safe team of fully qualified approved driving instructors, subject to a minimum donation to the chosen charities (Chestnut Tree House and Sussex Air Ambulance).

A winning prize of a VIP Under 17’s Driving Experience @ Dunsfold Park (Home of Top Gear), will be awarded to the best overall young driver.
