THE BISHOPRIC-based former Hoads Furniture store, which closed its doors for the last time at the end of March, is to take on a new lease of life and a new identity tomorrow (Saturday).
CHLOE’S will open at 11am on Saturday May 19 - selling pre-owned clothing, household goods and furniture - with the hope of benefiting the local community.
Owner Vida Lyne is well known in Horsham for her charity work.
The new shop boasts quality goods with affordable prices and a delivery service for larger items.
A spokesperson for the new shop said: “The intention is that surplus funds raised will ultimately be used to support the local community, specifically projects helping those who have fallen on hard times. Offers of volunteer help and good furniture will be welcomed.
“Please come and support this new initiative at CHLOE’S this Saturday.”
Mick Hodgson, vice chairman of West Sussex County Council, will be the guest of honour at the opening this weekend.
