Delighted staff gathered at Carfax’s suit specialist Moss Bros to reveal the store’s brand new refit on Thursday, October 25.

The £125,000 renovation is a welcome sight in Horsham town centre at a time of economic downturn.

To mark the official relaunch, the chairman of Horsham District Council, Leonard Crosbie, cut the red ribbon.

Manager Chris Waring declared his excitment: “It’s needed a refit for quite some time.

“They’re injecting a lot of capital to keep the business moving forward.”

Featuring a lowered ceiling, new flooring, wall panelling, spotlights and a revamped store sign, Moss Bros has kitted out every aspect to enhance the customer’s experience.

Mr Waring continued: “We’ve updated absolutely everything because the business itself is doing so incredibly well.”

Leading up to the relaunch, many residents did not realise the store was undergoing a positive change.

“So many people thought we were closing down because that’s what they’re used to seeing these days.”

Himself a long-time customer, Mr Crosbie believes it is important to recognise flourishing businesses in the area.

“I think it’s very necessary to support every business in Horsham.

“Retail commerce is crucial to the town and for that reason I’m delighted to be here today,” he said.

The store also includesHorsham’s very first bespoke service for made-to-measure suits.

Mr Waring explained: “People can choose the material that they want and personalise it with lining and buttons to make it their own.”

Once a service that residents had to travel to London for, Moss Bros have brought bespoke to Horsham and at almost half the usual cost.

“This is something in the city that you’d have to pay up to a £1,000 for.”
