SHOPPERS at Tesco in Broadbridge Heath are able to exchange clubcard points for vouchers to use in local businesses. The store’s loyalty scheme has started a new trial that allows local companies to take part in the programme.

Emma-Jane Allcot, customer services executive, said: “There has been a very positive response from customers, they seem happy that we have involved small local businesses.”

She added that if customers or companies have any questions they should visit the customer services teams in store.

Every week three businesses within a 20 miles radius of the stores at Crawley, Horsham and Gatwick will have offers open to Tesco clubcard members.

The trial began in January and will run through until April 2012.

Anyone interested in taking part can log on to www.tesco.com/clubcard/localrewards and follow the steps to take advantage of local offers.
