Horsham’s Swan Walk shopping centre was evacuated on Tuesday afternoon, after a fire alarm went off in Marks and Spencer.
Between 100 and 150 shoppers had to leave the shopping centre around 2.30pm, while fire crews checked the building was safe.
It turned out to be a false alarm - the all-clear was given around 2.45pm.
