Bus operator Stagecoach has launched a new Twitter account @StagecoachSouth to provide passengers with real-time information about service updates and bus times across West Sussex.
The customer service team, based in Chichester, will answer all enquiries by Twitter as well as those by phone, email and online.
Managing Director, Andrew Dyer said: “Our Winchester depot had such fantastic success with @StagecoachWinch, that we are confident the public will embrace this new way to engage with us. New innovations in technology and social media will continue to play an important role in attracting even more people on to our greener, smarter bus services.”
Customer Services will post tweets regarding service updates from 6am to 7pm and respond to general enquiries 9am to 5pm on weekdays.
