BREAKING NEWS: Thieves interrupted at Billingshurst corner shop

POLICE were called to reports of a burglary at Budgens, High Street, Billingshurst, Horsham on Sunday April 24.

Three men are believed to have smashed the glass in the front door of the shop to gain access at around 3.50am. Once inside the smoke screen alarm was automatically activated and the men then ran off empty handed.

The suspects were all wearing hooded tops to conceal their identities and one may have also had a pair of tights pulled over his head.

Police believe the incident may be linked to a recent series of night-time Co-op burglaries where cigarettes were stolen.
