Boy, 5, airlifted to hospital with head injuries after Henfield horse incident

A five-year-old boy was airlifted to hospital after he was knocked over by a horse in Henfield.

Emergency services arrived on the scene near Deep Park just after midday on Sunday (March 9).

A spokesman for South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb) said: “Two ambulance cars and two ambulances attended the scene and again we assigned the air ambulance to attend.

“A five-year-old boy had reportedly be knocked over by a horse.

He was airlifted to Southampton General Hospital with injuries which included an injury to his head. The call was to land near Deep Park, Henfield.”
