THE annual Billifest is back next weekend with an Italian Christmas theme.
On Saturday December 3 between 9am and 5pm the Billingshurst Community Partnership will bring together more than 30 groups and businesses from in and around the village to promote their activities and sell their wares in the grand marque in the Jengers Mead car park.
Throughout the day there will be the usual mix of grown-ups’ and children’s entertainment, including the arrival of Father Christmas with presents for the children and a ‘mega raffle’ with more than 30 prizes up for grabs, from hampers to restaurant vouchers.
As in previous years the pupils of Billingshurst Primary School were asked to design a poster for the brochure and the winner, Chloe Mulford, has her design on the front cover.
The runners up, Isabelle Skinner and Hollie Laker were presented with their prizes along with Chloe by the Partnership chairman Owen Davies at a recent school assembly.
Isabelle’s brother Adam received the prize on her behalf.
