A toddler and baby class in Horsham has been chosen as one of Britain’s best after being nominated for a national award.
The Baby Sensory class, run by local mum Jacqui Walton, is in the running to scoop the top prize from the UK’s biggest parenting site Netmums.com.
This unique Baby activity class, which is suitable from Birth to 13 months, at St Mark’s Church in Horsham, sees mums and dad’s bond with their babies by participating in a huge variety of activities some of which are one to one, and others which are group activities.
Now the class, which runs at 9.30am, 11am and 12.30pm on Thursdays, will go through to the final national vote with winners announced on June 21.
Jacqui is urging local parents who have attended classes or taster sessions to vote for the class and put Baby Sensory Horsham on the map.
She said: “Parents tell me that attending baby sensory class is the highlight of their babies week, so it’s so exciting to be recognised in this way. I’d love to win the award and show we really are something special.”
Last year over a million mums cast their votes as part of the Netmums awards and this year voting is open until June 17,
Netmums founder Siobhan Freegard said: “All the evidence shows that fun pre-school activities help kids blossom and give parents fun time too. That’s why we wanted to celebrate all they have to offer with these awards.
“Local mums and dads will be delighted to know Horsham has some of the best classes in the country.”
