Sussex Air Ambulance mascot Dr Dudley the Bear will be one of the special guests at a fundraising fete this weekend.
Laura Fitch ran the London Marathon back in April this year, to raise funds for Sussex Air Ambulance and The Matthew Russo Foundation and on Saturday June 16 she is holding the fete at the Dog and Duck in Kingsfold.
So far she has managed to raise around £900, just £100 short of her half-way target.
She said: “This Saturday I will be holding a charity fete at The Dog and Duck in Kingsfold from 12noon to 5pm.
“We have many things going on - BBQ, Tombola, Raffle, bouncy castle subject to weather and stalls.
“Should it rain some of the stalls will be held inside the pub, and at the back undercover.
“I also have a special guest with us most of the day, one that children will love. Dr Dudley, the Air Ambulance Bear mascot.
“It would be great for people to come along and support this much needed charity, who receive no government or National Lottery Funding.
“Money taken on the day will be split with the Pubs own charity St George’s Hospital London, in fact to whom Air Ambulance have close contact with.”
