TRIBUTES have been coming in for father of two Toby Lindgren who died on Wednesday (June 4) in a tragic car crash.

The family of Mr Lindgren, 29, who grew up in Horsham and lived in Thakeham, have paid tribute to a 'committed, loving' father.

You are invited to add your tributes below.

Mr Lindgren's widow Kirsty, 28, of Furze Common Road, told the County Times: "He was the most loving, caring, special dad and man in the world.

"He was an amazing dad and an amazing person and we are going to miss him desperately."

Mr Lindgren, who was the youngest of five brothers, and an avid car mechanic, was on his way to work at the Audi car body shop at Five Oaks, when his white Ford Fiesta was in collision with a Honda Civic at around 7.20am.

Mrs Lindgren, a youth officer at Horsham District Council, had been with her husband since they were teenagers, and married him five years ago.

She said: "Mechanics was his life, and he was teaching his son mechanics.

"He loved taking things apart and mending things, bikes and cars.

"He was a typical boy.

"He was very committed. He worked really hard and loved the people he worked with."

I went to school with Toby from the age of play school right up to senior school. He was a lovely person and I want to send my love to his Parents and brothers and his wife and children. It's very sad news, I'm sure he will be dearly missed.

Is there anywhere to send cards & Flowers?

Very sad to hear that such a great lad cut short in life. Toby had worked for me a few years ago and he allways was a pleasure to chat to. We bumped into each other occasionaly around horsham and he allways had time to talk.
Toby was well known and will be well missed.

Toby was one of our neighbours and father to my daughters friend.
My daughter spent a nice evening with him the night before the accident.
We all remember him for his great and caring personality.
He will be sadly missed by everyone

I knew Toby when he was younger, and first met when he was about 12. He used to pretend to be really tough on the outside but underneath he was a really sweet, sensitive guy. My thoughts go out to his whole family at this awful time.

You never know how much you could possibly miss someone until they're gone. Everyone will miss Toby, he was a great man. Thomas looked up to him so much, i just hope Tom keeps working on cars.

I remember when we all went to the Races together, we had such a good time. He was full of good times.
You will be missed Toby.

Thinking of you Kirsty, Sash and Tom,
Love You All x
