THE NEW Brighton Road Baptist Church in Horsham has opened its doors for services.
The old buildings were demolished 18 months ago to make way for a new £3m church centre with chapel, meeting hall, sports hall, and several meeting rooms.

The first service was held last Sunday July 6.

Ken Carter, a deacon of the church and leader of the building project team, said: "Since our move from Brighton Road in January 2007, we have been committed to getting the site back up and running as quickly as possible – we are delighted with the new buildings and are confident that these will enable us to bring new and exciting activities for the people of our local community.

To celebrate the re-opening, the church is holding an open week beginning on Monday July 21.

Services are held at 10.30am and 6.30pm every Sunday, and all are welcome.
