THE RECENT wet weather has forced Brinsbury College to cancel the popular lambing day event which was due to be held on Sunday (March 31).

The tracks to the farm at the Brinsbury campus of Chichester College are still holding water after the cold and wet Easter bank holiday weekend.

All is not lost though as many people have been watching lambs being born via a LambCam set up in the lambing barn, sending pictures direct to their computer screens.

You can log on to the LambCam through the Chichester College website or directly via www.chichester.ac.uk/lambcam/lambIE08.htm.

For comprehensive coverage of all the stories making the local news, read Friday's edition of the West Sussex County Times newspaper. Website users who wish to purchase a copy of the County Times newspaper but live outside our circulation area can do so by telephoning 01403 751200 and asking for reception. The cost of the newspaper plus postage in England is £1.53 which can be paid for by credit card. Overseas rates are also available, on request.

Today's Vote

Many shops remain open on Bank Holiday Mondays. Do you think:
They should be open
They should all close
It should be the decision of individual shops
