POLICE have raided two Horsham pubs in a major anti-drugs operation.

The Horse & Groom in East Street, and The Coot, in Merryfield Drive were searched by around 25 officers with sniffer dogs, just after midday today (Thursday August 7).

The raids were carried out under the Misuse of Drugs Act and came as a result of community intelligence, said Inspector Martin Pattenden of Sussex Police.
