£11m Christmas gift to Horsham from John Lewis

John Lewis has confirmed its intention to open a new ‘at home’ store in Horsham 11 months after the County Times first tipped the iconic retailer would anchor the £35m West End development.

Co-located with a brand new Waitrose store off Albion Way, the plans represent an £11m investment in the town and would create 175 new jobs.

“The significant investment and job creation represents a real vote of confidence for Horsham and we look forward to becoming part of the local community,” said John Lewis managing director, Andy Street.
