A NIGHT of musical magic is promised as a Hurstpierpoint charity celebrates its 10th anniversary.
The village's Danny House will provide a spectacular backdrop when it hosts a champagne concert to mark reMEmber's milestone.
The charity helps people with ME (Chronic Fatigue Syndrome). It has always been based in Hurstpierpoint/Hassocks but has made an impact far further afield, campaigning nationally on behalf of CFS/ME sufferers.
Danny House owner Richard Burrows is a trustee of reMEmber and has made his home available for a number of fund-raising events over the past decade.
The next reMEmber event at Danny is a champagne celebration of the Magic of Music which will feature the Wolstonbury Chamber Orchestra conducted by Michael Stefan Wood, head of music at Oakmeeds School, Burgess Hill, and Suzanne Wood on clarinet.
Including music by Mozart, Boccherini and Pachelbel, it will take place on Saturday, October 31, at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £15, which includes champagne, and are available from the charity.
The charity regularly runs self-management courses for sufferers and carers all over Sussex and beyond – the next will be starting at Haywards Heath on October 2.
