What about Samuel? In Brighton

Clare and James have issues in their relationship. They also have a beautiful son. But on a day when everyone seems to lose the plot, the question is What About Samuel?

The play is being staged by Put It On Productions, at Open House, Springfield Road, Brighton, from Monday, May 21-Sunday, May 27 at 7.30pm. Tickets 01273 917272.

Producer Ross Harvie said: “This brand-new edgy comedy holds the mirror up to the middle-class obsession with good parenting where the child is the last thing on anyone’s mind but the weapon of choice in a point-scoring war.

“This new piece of writing from the creative duo Rose and Charles is being premiered at the Open House as part of Brighton Fringe 2012. The production, which is written and performed by Mary Rose and Danny Charles, is produced in association with international touring theatre company, Proteus.

“Actor/writers Mary Rose and Danny Charles have performed in venues as diverse as the Royal Court and West Yorkshire Playhouse to rural village halls and New York’s Broadway. The production reunites Rose, Charles and Swan following critically-acclaimed and highly-successful national tours of devised work under the banner of Proteus.”
