STORRINGTON and District Museum has had ‘immense fun’ setting up their temporary ‘Toy Time’ exhibition.
Running from today (Saturday October 8) up until the end of the year, with a seasonal change for Christmas, there is ‘something for everyone’.
A spokesperson said: “We have something for everyone – young and old, a train layout and displays of toys shown by Worthing Toy Collections Club. There will also be a childrens’ entertainer, Marky who will be on hand with magic, balloon modelling and puppet shows (at 11.30 and 12.30). There is even a face painter.”
A teddy bears picnic will take place at 2.30pm so make sure you remember your teddy; there is also the chance to play old fashioned games.
The museum wanted to thank Horsham Museum, Worthing Museum, Worthing Toy Collectors Club and Brighton Toy and Model Museum, for their support, and Eunice Allen, Judy Palmer and Fiona Reidy, who have made special ‘treasures’ for the exhibition.
The museum is open 10.00am – 4.00pm Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays. For more information phone 01903 740188.
