Another report featuring The Central Hall in Horsham which was the county’s first purpose-built cinema.

“The Central Hall - Owing to the success of ther feature films recenly shown at the Hall, several others have already been booked for exhibition shortly.

“On Monday next a two-part grand feature film by Messrs. Pathe Freres, will be shown entitled “Saved by his Victim”; and on Thursday next the special picture will be “Madam Satan”, a thrilling two-part drama with Mlle. Yvette Andreyor (the world renowned actress of the Comedie Francaise) in the title role.

“Mr Arthgur Stanley, society humourist and character comedian, has been engaged for the week.”

(Yvette Andréyor was a French actress who appeared in 108 films between 1910 and 1962.)
